This is a cute 100 pound ( not little) baby staying close by his mother’s side. She is fiercely protective so I don’t have an ear tag in yet, but the initial vaccination went well (although I had to hold on to his tail and watch for mom who was coming a running!)
What a beautiful time to be born with the rustle of leaves softly singing in the breeze.

The acorns are falling, the deer are everywhere and there was a dusting of snow on the Sierras to tell us that the summer is passing. Leaves are turning and falling and there is a softness in the air. Truly a wonderful time as we all do our rain dances for the grass to grow tall again.
