Today in Grizzly Flats the sun was warm, the tall trees were fragrant and it seemed that everyone was home. Nice community of hearty souls who enjoy the cooler temperatures in the summer and look out on the snow of winter.
People are getting wood in for the snow that falls at 4000 ft and there are some very good real estate buys right now. This cohesive community used to number around 10,000 when it was a mining and logging beehive, but now there are just about a thousand men, women and children with excellent schools and a post office of its own!
